Odoo Presales Specialist

This is a full-time role for an Odoo Presales Specialist at Clue Group. The specialist will play a critical role in driving sales success by bridging the gap between client requirements, sales efforts, and Odoo solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

Collaborating

  • Collaborating closely with the sales team to identify, analyze, and design Odoo-based solutions tailored to client requirements.

Assisting

  • Assisting the sales team in qualifying leads by leveraging deep knowledge of Odoo’s features, modules, and capabilities to address business challenges and deliver value.

Analysis

  • Conducting detailed business analysis to ensure feasibility, alignment with client objectives, and the creation of practical, innovative Odoo solutions.

Translating client requirements

  • Translating client requirements into comprehensive solution proposals and project documentation for clear alignment with development and implementation teams.

Odoo’s capabilities

  • Conducting live demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to showcase Odoo’s capabilities and how they meet client needs.

liaison

  • Acting as a liaison between sales, implementation, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet client expectations.

Supporting RFPs

  • Supporting RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) by preparing technical and functional documentation. 

Staying up-to-date 

  • Staying up-to-date with Odoo’s latest releases, industry trends, and emerging technologies to proactively identify new opportunities.

Technical expertise

  • Providing technical expertise and guidance during the presales phase, including proof-of-concept development when required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Odoo presales, business analysis, or ERP consulting.
  • Strong understanding of Odoo’s functional and technical aspects, including core modules such as CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and Manufacturing.
  • Experience working on Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
  • Excellent ability to assess client requirements and design Odoo-based solutions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering engaging Odoo product demonstrations and proposals.
  • Experience with project testing, quality assurance, and functional documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP presales documentation.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions.
  • Ability to introduce and adapt new Odoo features to meet client and market needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
